Taylor Farms is recalling more than a dozen products containing jalapeños as part of an expanding salmonella outbreak that has sickened 345 people across 27 states. The recall affects products sold at major retailers including Walmart, Target, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Kroger.
A UK radio station, Radio Caroline, was found to have violated broadcasting rules after it accidentally aired announcements claiming that King Charles III had died, followed by the British national anthem and approximately 16 minutes of silence. The incident prompted an investigation by media regulator Ofcom.
In a dramatic last-minute reversal, Fresno Mayor Jerry Dyer signed a city-only half-cent sales tax measure, ensuring it will appear on the Nov. 3, 2026 ballot, despite previously saying he would not move forward if the countywide Better Roads, Safe Streets transportation tax qualified for the ballot.
